I think he a jolly good player. If it weren't for him, Liverpool could never have won the European Championship last season. He is a very good player, much better than Frank Lampard, but he is not a great player. I'd rate him 8 out of 10.

He should be in central midfield, he is being misuised on the wing. Benetiz added a lot of players but it seems Pennent cannot hold the right wing and that forces Gerrard to play there. But he is so much better centrally.

I would give him a 9.5 over 10 coz hes the best player ive seen in the english premier league!

steven gerrard is one of the best player and long distance shooter in uk so i rate him the highest rate possible

On todays showing - less than average. On last years cup final showing - better than average. On England duty - less than average. On potential - better than average. The Jury is tied at 2-2... tiebreaker?.. he needs to join a bigger Club.

I think he is over-rated and I'm glad as a supporter of the best team in the world namely Chelsea that we didn't buy the miserable git.
