Nope, it's definately not lame. It's smart. And if your friends are over 11 years old, they won't think it's lame either.

I am in college and I talk with my teachers via email frequently. It really is helpful and it is the best way to get answers. I think it is ok to email about school related issues. Anybody who thinks it is lame probably isn't mature enough to realize the benefits of having a good relationship with teachers.

It's not lame to email your teacher. It's when you need help and don't ask for it that makes a person lame and stuck on stupid.

One of the biggest influences of my life was my high school principal. And I still email him quite a bit. If this person is useful than keep emailing them. Dont worry about what is lame.

Only email your teacher if you have questions regarding a school lesson, or, to make sure you understand a lesson.
You should not email your teacher unless you think it is important and she shuould know about it.d

Yes I did.She was my history teacher. She was really cool & there was no one in my school who didn't like her.Unfortunately, she had to leave us all & go to another state. Before leaving she promised to sing us a song & then she gave us her email id.My new history teacher is an old woman & she's soooooooooooooooo boring. She embarrases us.She askes us to answer a question in front of the whole class & if we donno the answer she'll make every one laugh @ us.

just because they're your teacher doesn't mean they can't be a good friend or an intersting person to talk to, plus it may help to get along with your teacher when report cards come around

It is not lame at all. i e-mail my professors all the time. It shows your concern with understanding what they're trying to teach you. There's nothing to be ashamed of.
