Your gonna have to direct this one at Bush and his folowers. Since he has committed atrocities, and believes he's doing the "right" thing.

People in themselves are neither good nor evil: it is what they do which is so. Evil is always looking for ways to corrupt the mind of man to allow its passage out into the world. The mind of man is easily corrupted. Religious and political bigotry, create both hatred, and self-righteous justification in those who succumb to it. In their hearts men always know what is evil, but the mind with all its reasons and justifications shouts louder than the quiet voice of the heart. All who commit atrocities are puppets of evil. It does not matter what "side" they are on, they have allowed themselves to become channels for the Devil's work, and all their self-righteous justifications and beliefs, are just a script written for them by the Prince of Darkness.

'Evil' is not a label by the majority, or something individuals call themselves; however, it exists whether people committing atrocities believe they are doing the right thing or not.

You're not being controversial at all. "Evil" is just one of many words that apply to those who intentionally do things they know will cause harm to others just to gain more of those little green pieces of paper they "need" to gain social and political power and control. The truth is that these folks have chronic emotional & psychological Illnesses.
That sad part is these folks are in total denial regarding these problems and instead of taking charge of their own lives they pass the blame on to others. In general it's called sociopathic behaviors.
I have a saying, "Those who seek power and control over others, lack power and control over themselves". This has occurred since time and memorial, the good news more people are becoming aware, and a lot of "stuff" is coming out of the closet, & from under the rug. Hope this helps. PEACE!

Yes. Unless they are seriously mentally deranged. In which case they would prob not be able to commit such atrocities. Evil is prob different to different people though. There must be things that some people see as being evil and others don't.

Saddam Husein is evil. Osama Bin Laden is evil. Hitler is evil. Ronald McDonald is evil. The majority label for "evil" means those that the media molds them into, so whatever the media says, well, GOES! Reminds me of the Greenday hit, "Don't Want to Be an American Idiot!".

Atrocities are never evil if conducted by the winning side, or in pursuit of material wealth or religious beliefs. Reagan and Bush`s `axis` or `Empire of evil `comments, did not include evils committed to Blacks and Native Americans, (only the enemy are evil, and we shall tell you who to hate). The Brits never mention Tasmania, a sordid saga of `evil` brutality, the Christians ignore Inquisitions , disgusting `holy`wars, and the burning of dissenters. "Now we own the land and all of its wealth, we have crushed our enemies and their idols, we have replaced them with things of our own understanding. We must now win the war of minds of those we rule, but this war shall never end".

Not knowing they are doing evil is no excuse. Saying you're doing it for a good cause is no excuse. If you commit atrocities without feeling any remorse, you're a psychopath and that, to me, is evil

Suppose you would have to ask them that question!

I think that evil is something that 'society' has made up to punish people - rightly so too!

Those who commit crimes of this nature may see that as duty or need, but until we can get 'inside' that type of mind and get an honest answer, we will never truly know what 'they' think!
