I have some kind of bad sensor 97 grand am 2.4?

Question

car starts fine runs fine 95% of the time never dies and always starts right up.It loses power and starts smoking grey smoke does not use oil period it seems to be air fuel issue the plugs read like its lean.I have replaced both O2 sensors didnt fix ,repaced cat with test pipe code shows random misfire but the 2 sensors i replaced fixed nothing and dont want to go down that road anymore any ideas?

sounds like a mass air flow sensor

go to auto zone and have them run a test on your comp.its free,and they will tell you what you need.
