No, it doesn't amaze me at all. Most people are intelligent enough to understand that the things one's ancestors have done are a non-issue. Considering G.W.'s defense of Israeli interests, his Nazi sympathizing ancestors are probably more than a little displeased with how their legacy is being dishonored.
George W. Bush has done enough by himself to earn my contempt - I could care less about what his ancestors have done, and hope that you'll extend me the same courtesy.
What is more amazing is that you have to go back three generations to find something worth condemning him for, and he wasn't even alive then.
