Is there a 240min DVD-R media? Where can I buy it?

Sounds like you are looking for dual-layer dvd-r discs. You would have to make sure your burner can burn dual-layer first. I usually buy 4.7 GB single-layer and 8.5 GB dual-layer from Rima.com

I think you are looking for a dual layered DVD-R. A single layered DVD-R can store up to 120 minutes of video. A dual layered DVD-R will store 2x as much or 240 minutes. Dual layered DVD-R are usually labeled DVD-R DL and they can be brought at any local computer store.

you can author a 240 min dvd-r on a single layer if you know how, results look pretty good if you control the bitrates properly
