Sometimes, we all tend to get all anxious about trivial matters in our lives. The best way to deal with those times is to ask yourself whether all that will matter 2 days from now, a month from now, a year from now or even 10 years from now.

My experience tells me that MOST of those issues don't really matter so much.

If you were to think about it yourself, would you say the same thing?

Actually, today...I am at a friends house and we talked about this very subject...

It seems that people are either complaining about something, mad about something or anxious about something...and, I have to say I am guilty of all three...

but, I am working on it, and, I thank you for writing your question...

I personally feel that the mind must be occupied by something...and, I guess we all need to concentrate on what does matter..not what does not...it also seems negative thoughts dominate positive thoughts...

so a toast to you for helping....on my trying to be more positive...

Absolutly, but sometimes it's hard to stop and take a deep breath and don't sweat the small stuff. I really think that as you grow older, you get better at it. Also, it matters if the problem is very personal to you or just a general problem. But, yes, I think your statement is very true.

Yep, I do, that's one practical way of maintaining perspective. Also, when I'm getting impatient with someone who will seemingly never stop talking, I say to myself, "another 120 seconds won't matter..." before I interrupt.

Absolutely, especially if you are very young as you really don't know what real problems are until you are older and lived through them.
