learn how to make stars. they're fun and when you're done with them you can put the in a bottle and give them to a friend for a present.

It's not so much about having a hobby -- it's more about being imaginative. If you find you have some time that's all your own, with nothing to do (hence, you're bored), start using your imagination. Maybe rearrange the furniture in your room, write a poem, read a book, go outside and walk around the block or something to get your imagination going.
