Why do they give references without verifying that the specific answer actually exists in them? What good is it to say, "Try Google," if you don't even know if Google contains the information the person is looking for? Sometimes people give specific links, but they sometimes don't even contain the right information.
If a person is not trying to simply rack up points, shouldn't they take a bit of time to confirm they're anwering the actual question?

I agree. If people just Googled everything, there wouldn't be a Yahoo! Answers. There are some things you can't just search and have to ask to a group of people.

I don't know why. The only time that's not annoying is when people are asking for the title of a song. It really would be faster to search on Google then ask everybody in that case. Otherwise that's really annoying! People should put at least a little thought in their answers.

I answer first, and if the answering makes me think of or makes my day, then i will action picture star. i know...it extremely is picky of me, sorry. o.o yet this way I finally end up pointing my followers and contacts to the *stable stuff* you recognize? ^__^ Or a minimum of i attempt to. yet have a action picture star besides basically for being affected person and expertise. ^_^

most people dont care to, I know I have asked questions I couldn't find the answer to on yahoo, or google, or msn and gotten answers like "look it up yourself and quit wasting my time"
