I wear makeup to school everyday, usually just foundation (my skin is a bit blotchy so its neccessary) and mascara. My skin color is between fair and tan and my eye and hair color is dark brown. Does anybody have some makeup tips that help me keep a somewhat natural look while minimizing my flaws?

Since you're only going to school, you don't have to dress up your face as though you're going to a fashion retreat.
At this point, foundation and mascara is super good, but try addind something more, like lip gloss. Besides pencils, lip gloss is an ultimate necessity for school days. It keeps your lips looking plump, ready-to-use (if you're in that situation), and refreshed without getting chaped. So, make sure to add a cute lip gloss to your day. Even if your crush won't look at you, the fact that you have cute lip gloss outshines that flaw.

Also, try adding a little bit of blush to your cheeks to give you a non-pale look. Blush lightens up the face, and gives you a refreshed touch to your face and features. Make sure to blend it all over your cheekbones and T-zone when applying.

For a natural look, I'd go with a powder foundation, and a hint of pink blush on your cheeks. Finish up with a little lip gloss and you're good to go. I don't feel mascara, eyeliner, or eye shadow is necessary for school or even during the day. Save the ultra-glam looks for the evening.

i would use a medicated foundation like nutregena or something else. use minimal make up so you won't look like a clown, the mascara is good. make sure to wash your face with a gentle cleanser daily and if you want splash on some toner.

SInce you are between fair and tan, I recommend a peachy blush or a bronzer for your cheeks to give you a little glow.
