To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."

I agree. I uninstalled it as soon as I saw I couldn't use the Explorer tool bar and change my Internet settings. I Like to open up in Google mail. Exp 7 takes over control of your browser.

Redhatgal: Not true. I still have my regular Explorer.

I just put a question on about that. I did the Systems Restore and it fixed it, so I'm back with my other one.
If you do the Add/Remove it will only get rid of IE 7.0 - then you won't have either one.
