DALLAS - Toby Linn O'Connor, 29, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jesuit College Preparatory School with the Rev. Philip Postell officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Panhandle. Arrangements are by Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Mr. O'Connor was a graduate of Jesuit in Dallas, attended the University of Texas and was completing his studies in advertising at the University of North Texas. He had a passion for golf that was highlighted by two holes-in-one in less than four years. He also loved Texas Longhorn football and witticisms. Most of all, he loved people. To those he knew, he was more than a friend - he was a brother. To his family, he was everything.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Choc Smith of Panhandle; his grandparents, Bob and Rodie O'Connor of St. Louis; and his aunt and godmother, Lynda Keller of Dallas.
Survivors include his father, Tom O'Connor of St. Louis; his mother, Sandra O'Connor of Houston; a brother, Corey O'Connor of St. Louis; his grandmother, Jo Beth Smith of Panhandle; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family suggests memorials be to the Jesuit Scholarship Fund.
