Sort of! Most sharks have a membrane inside their eye socket-they cannot shut it by choice, but when they go into feed, it automatically closes, protecting their soft eyes. So, they are "blind" whilst feeding. Which is useful to know if a shark is chomping on your leg...at least it can't see what it's eating!

Sharks have a protective membrane that comes down over there eyes to protect them when they go in to kill, however I am not sure whether this happens at other times or just when they are attacking prey, but they blink at that moment x

They don't blink the same as people how ever they do blink just as they attack . when the jaws are open for the kill the eyes of a shark are closed just for that second in time....... every time. in other words, they blink.

Not as far as I'm aware, neither sharks nor fish blink that's why they sleep with their eyes open. And just as an addition - they can't stop moving either.

Not the way humans do, but they do, however, have a protective membrane that glides over the eye in order to protect it just before the shark bites its prey.
