Search craigs list, local papers, junkyards, local repair shops may have used parts

Autozone, O'reilly, NAPA, and others. Don't get a rebuilt compressor. They have a high failure rate for those. A new one is only $100 or so more and well worth it.

I guess that depends what kind of refrigerant (CFC) it uses? A lot of refrigerant are now illegal and does a lot of harm to environment. You may have to redesign the A/C system in a '95 Firebird.
