Watched the photos and read the rhetoric. We took a hit that fatefull morning and no one will ever forget but it is now 5 years later and unless people come together and realize that the road we are on now is exactly the path the terrorists had hoped for. We are better than that. We are stronger than that. If , as a nation we can survive a civil war and be better than before, there is no excuse for the response to 9-11. Since then we have invaded 2 soverign nations, enacted legislation taking away OUR civil liberties, have an administration that continues the terrorist agenda of fear. The perpetrators of the World Trade Center deserve no mercy, but our nation was created and fought over due to an oppressive King and when a President enacts legislation that includes his having sole descretion to arrest an American citizen, deny them a right to a trail, keep them locked up until the "War on Terror" is won and even torture them with no fear of prosecution, then the terrorists have already won. As a Nation of the free, each and every citizen is subject to the Act Bush signed a few short days ago. That is not democracy, that is dictatorship. How would you feel if it was you that Bush arbitrarilly decided was an enemy? Like I've said, the terrorists deserve no mercy but the U.S. of A. is supposed to be a society that all countries strive to be. Our reaction to 9-11 makes us no better than communist Russia of the Stalin years and Bush no better than a Castro or any other scared bully. We took a hit, shake it off America, come back better than before. We have specialist military units that should be able to find Osama but in the meantime Bush's new War Act makes a mockery of every life lost fighting for the very freedoms this new Act takes away. God help us all.

RIGHT ON SISTER!!!!! I to cry at the very thought of the day I was sitting at a load sight listening to KFI radio in So. Ca. I listened in utter amazement as what I was hearing. I picked up the C.B and said to my co-workers "I think we are under attack". I cried that day and still cry today. I did not lose anyone in my family but I did lose my feeling of safety but never my courage. The very next morning I posted a big sign in the back window of my Frightliner that said in bold letters.
LAND OF THE FREE
HOME OF THE BRAVE.
I got so many thumbs up on the open highway so we all suffered and will never ever FORGET.
