ok! i know what ur Point is! you just trying to prove that Beyonce doesn't write her own ****! my opinion is : who cares? she sure sings the hell out of those songs! and maybe she does take credit for something she didn't do! but is she the only one? why do we only blame her?! i think the fact that she won an award for writing is the ultimate proof that she does write! plus it's not like she walks around telling everybody that she writes her own songs, it's the media that makes a big deal out of it! untill now a lot of people think that Bee took credit for if i were a boy but she didn't since her name isn't on the cd! anyway here's what Bee said : "I don't play any instrument," she says. "I have writers that I write with, or I have writers that will send me a full song, and I'll rearrange it - change the second verse, change the melody, keep a chord that I like, and recreate it. Just depends. I might bring in whoever I think can help the song. When I have just a beat it's the most fun for me. I'll get somebody to play whatever I hum for the bassline. So I'm creating a whole track with my voice." I hope you noticed how she didn't say "I write my own songs, on my own!" like most people imagine she does!

Yes, she writes most of her songs on both of her CDs and when she was with Destiny's Child she wrote songs for the group. However, on she songs she does use a writer and producer.

Update. The answer is no. She has changed one word in other artists' songs but has never actually wrote lyrics. She cannot even read music. Get real folks.

No she does not. The most she contributes is writing the backing harmonies. The words are already written.
