How do I find mothers like me who are starting over and trying to make a dream career come true and maintain.

Question

I am the mother of three wonderful and patient children. I am recently divorced and are starting over from scratch.I am trying to make my dream career come true in broadcasting yet maintain a home and life ofr myself and my children. I have every talent and work ethic to make this happen but I don't have a support system. No family that supports my ambitions, and most frineds that are expressing doubt about what I am trying to do. I feel alone and I just want to give back to this world the gifts I have been blessed with and make just enough to take care of my children. Anyone can help?

I have invested almost everything in a pilot for television that is getting a great buzz but I'm have no connections in the business to get it sold.

well you can count me as one..I am a single mother of two girls- I have never been married and i am currently seeking the best possible route to achieve my dream career- a doctor..specifically a plastic surgeon. I too have no one in my life that supports my decision. my family tells me to be a radiollogy tech if i absolutley need to be in the medical field...that just would not satisfy me though and they can not understand that..but they do say that IF i make it then i can loan them money!!what is that about?

Best of luck to you doll i'm in the same situation but my son is all grown up now so i'm trying to get back to work too,there are no jobs here in NY ,worth the pay
