Seems to be a bug in IE7 concerning PSAPI.DLL; the only solutions I have seen involve renaming this file (didn't seem to work!) or rollingback to IE6 (did work).

I'm taking an educated guess here, as I don't have IE7 on my computer.

Go into your Start menu, then Control Panel. See if you can find IE7 in the Add / Remove Programs area. See if you can remove it.
It might be in the Add / Remove Windows Components (to the side of the Add / Remove Programs screen).

If that doesn't pan out... you may need to rollback your Programs back to before you installed it. Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Roll it back to a point just before IE7 took over your computer.

Yes, it's a pain. I feel your pain, but as I said before, I don't have IE7 on my computer... I don't even USE IE. I use Firefox and highly recommend it. It does everything IE7 does... and does it better. And it does more!

I don't mean this in a glib "2 point grabbing" way, but the best thing to do is ditch it and get Firefox.

Microsoft have a proven history of constantly bringing out updated software that still does the same job but takes up a far greater percentage of your resources. Media Player, office, and now IE.

Get your computer back, get Firefox

Why oh why wo'nt people learn that ei7 is as bigger pile of shite as ei6 and ei5, in fact all of them, stop using it and download Mozilla Firefox instead, it the best browser around, and it's free.

run system restore, then re install the software. it should fix the problem if you have had a bad instalation.
