If you had a choice....would you rather die suddenly in your sleep with no warning, but no pain or suffering OR would you rather know that death is coming so you can say goodbye and manage your affairs, even though you may suffer until you die?

I have only one affair that I want to do. I want to vist someone. Just for that, I prefer pain and to suffer until I die.
If I hadn't that I prefered to die suddenly

Long. Draw it out, u only live once. Id wanna tell people, waste all i got, everything i got, give some money to charities. I wanna die with nothing but a smile and the clothes on my back even if that means a little bit of pain

Why are you so preoccupied with death?
And why do I only have two choices? Life always has more than two choices!
I don't like goodbyes - they make me cry, and I definitely wouldn't want to suffer, so I'd go with the quiet, painless death.
Hopefully, my Will executor will be able to manage my affairs.

I live each day so that the people I love KNOW I love them, every single day. The people in my town know I care about each and every one of them. My country knows I'm a patriot, having volunteered and served in the United States Navy for many years. My world will be a better place, having instilled environmental concerns in my children and grandchildren.
So, it makes no difference to me when or how I die; cancer did not even scare me . My body is finite, my soul is eternal and I know that it will go home to be with the Lord.

My first instinct is to reply quickly in my sleep. I mean really who wants to be in pain? But then I think of my children and hubby and remember what it was like when my friend's mom died like that and I know that being able to spend even a little time preparing my family and being able to leave something for them like a journal full of thoughts that I would like them to have would be worth any pain I would go through....

I don't have a preference. I'll take whatever comes my way. I don't want to have euthanasia done on me though even if I am suffering. I figure God will be happy if I take the strong way out and if he doesn't exist oh well I'll stop existing anyway.

funny you should ask because it came up recently with my children. i told them good-bye because i just might die in my sleep and not have the chance to say good-bye. it works out kinda nice because now we can go about life and not worry about it.

In my sleep, besides you should always have all your ducks in a row, you never know when you're gonna go... I didn't rhyme on purpose, it just happened.
