Ide delete the email without opening or if you have opened it then run a spyware checker or at the least a virus check.

if it is from a source that you trust and need to reed the file or attachment then either double click and choose to save it or run it or right click on the attachment and save to a location...

You need someone to tell you not to open it, or you opened it and something bad happened? Or you want to open the file and you don't know how?

If you don't know who the e-mail is from, and you weren't expecting it, then it's likely a virus. Delete it and forget about it.

If you don't recognize the sender, don't open the attachment
