why dont americans have an open mind to 9/11 and what really happend....? Im not saying that anyone knows exactly what happend, but surely they have enough sence to see things dont add up!

of course everyone saw two planes hit the wtc. No building has ever fallen due to fire like that...ever!!! if you dont believe me look it up what about wtc 7? that wasnt even hit.
why wouldnt the government give out the tapes of the firefighters in the wtc until last yyear when they were made to by a court.....because there were people in there saying they could hear a number of bangs on each floor before it fell....there are so many things that dont add up

A surprising number of Americans think there was a conspiracy on the part of the US government. Bush, his cabinet and his security advisers were incompetent when they ignored so many warnings. It's the simplest explanation that fits all the evidence, and that is usually the best.

Does not believing in conspiracy theories make on closed minded?
For one thing, I live about 20 miles from the Pentagon, I know people that work there and and across the street from it in Crystal City. Some of those people saw what happened and I have thus had first hand reports from them. Also I know a couple of people who were on the high way that runs parallel to the Pentagon and saw the plane hit. I also have a former business associate who's parents died in the plane that hit the Pentagon. They had come to visit him and were flying home.What those people have told us coincides with the official version of events. Of course there are details that they have no way of knowing but their testimony does contradict most of what I have read in the conspiracy theories. To believe the conspiracy theorists I'd have to believe that my friends and neighbors were themselves all conspiring to lie to me. I'm not that paranoid. Also my best friends Aunts was in NY that day. She was staying at a hotel 2 blocks from the WTC, she was evacuated from the Hotel and had to take a train to DC without her purse or shoes. She told us what she saw and also what fellow travelers on the train home told her. Besides when you really think about it with an open mind why not ask yourself if the conspiracy theorists are not the real conspirators trying to make American people lose faith in their government? Maybe they are the ones with the nefarious agenda.

people believe what they want to believe about most major things. they try to see the best in the common man, and the worst in the mass. typically "the mass" is the government, but can simply be another group with different views. That's why when ever someone go's off the deep end and guns down his class mates or coworkers, people always say "i cant believe he would do such a thing" when in reality most cases show that the perpetrator was very likely to do it. what should be said, is "i cant believe he *really* went through with it". but back to your question. People believe what they want because it helps them sleep at night. regardless of how bazaar you perceive there interpretations to be.

There are bound to be bangs on each floor before a building collapses think of the heat,computerised machines exploding everywhere,what happened on that fateful day was appalling & whether it will happen again who knows? to try & even comprehend how or what state those people were in is unimaginable ? before we know they may even have been dead before the planes hit? Don`t dwell on it, it happened, it may happen again. God forbid but, you can`t change what`s happened so accept it & move on America has.

What really happened is that I had to run for my life that day and I saw countless of innocent people die for some Sick and Twisted individual to make a point.
Innocent people are dying all of this world because of someones warped sense of what is right and wrong. Y is it that you point towards Americans? This is OUR World and we are in it together its a shame that others don't think of what the consequences of their actions do. This is about religion and a stinking piece of land. Isn't that sick and twisted. What really happened was Airplanes, ordinarily used for traveling on business and vacation were abused and used to kill thousands of innocent people from all walks of life, what part of that DON'T you have an open mind about.

What is wrong with all these people. Sept 11th happened. It was planes flown by brainwashed jerks who happened to be Muslems. People were killed. It was tragic. It sent the paranoid Americans into total panic and now denial.

what makes you say this... i have seen plently of americans who have an open mind about 9/11 and many people have their own thoughts on what really happened and the story behind it. why are you claiming it just to be americans tho - even some british people dont have an open mind to what happened!

There's plenty of science that says two planes, flown by Islamic Extremists hit the WTC towers that caused them to collapse.
