In their influences, styles, songs, covers etc. And a few examples of songs would be brilliant. Thanks.

Ok ok.
I can't go past Bruce Springsteen, he did this so well. Get the album Nebraska, it covers all of the above genres, except perhaps folk, because it is hard to pinpoint folk in a rock song, after all. But his lyrics are reminiscent of bob dylan's work. If you are not a springsteen fan and only know his big hits, this album will surprise you.

Neil Young also blended different styles of music well. He was heavily influenced by country, and has even on occasion referred to himself as a country artist. But there's also a touch of the blues and folk in his work.

Joni Mitchell, great folk singer who know's her way around the blues.

Perhaps some Buffalo Springfield is more your fancy. Different sort of sound but theres a bit of a mixture in there.

Try Chuck Berry. He is definitely on of the greatest artists ever. Some really great songs are:

Johnny B. Goode
Maybelline
Sweet Little Sixteen
School Days
No Particular Place To Go

and there's much,much more.

You could try

Emmylou Harris. Any song from her would suffice. She has a very folk voice, her song material extracted from country topics. Try listening to her A Love That'll Never Grow Old / To Know Him Is To Love Him...
Diamond Rio.
Oh, also, the late but still brilliant Eva Cassidy too.

Hendrix. funk,blues,rock and folk.
He didn't do country though, may have been the climate towards brothers at the time.

edit- To loveheavenspirit777, J J Cale was brought up a few miles away from where I live, a place called Amanford in South Wales. He was in the Velvet Underground you know!!!!

What about Richard Thompson? He comes from a solid folk background with Fairport Convention, almost joined The Eagles when they were starting out and is one of the most respected guitarist/singer/songwriters around. He mixes Celtic, Rock'n'Roll, Very English Folk, Contemporary Rock and Experimental forms within one solo or one song. He transcends genres even as he
re-invents them. Check out Rumor & Sigh; Mirror Blue; You, Me, Us?; Pour Down Like Silver; anything he's touched, really. I hope you check him out, it's worth the effort.

A few months ago I saw Watermelon Slim at a local club. Truly honest country-blues and his latest "Watermelon Slim & The Workers" gets my vote as best of the year.
He has some stuff on Youtube.

hmmmmmmmm.,... mixing all of those genres? not sure if i can really think of anyone!

but if you're looling for some good stuff in the folk/country i'd recommend Barry McGuire (eve of destruction), Phil Ochs - Draft Dodger Rag, When I'm Gone, Cops of the world, Woodie Guthrie (dig my life away), Hank Williams (I'm so lonesome i could cry) ...

can't think of anything else.
