Anything that you can share as a couple will bring you closer together and strengthen you as a couple.
Sincere prayer and submission to, and worship of, God is probably the one thing that will bring you to a closeness like nothing else can.

Prayer between partners can very much so strengthen a relationship because the two of you are accepting god in your lives together.

If you believe in the strength of prayer then yes it is a positive to fortifying marriage.... but it's not necessary to pray in order to have a strong marriage.... because marriage after all should be built on love and respect....
I am an athiest on post big bang theory.... on pre big bang I'm unclear. I believe that religion is something that drives some people through faith... But I don't need faith to care and to show love and respect....
Remember it's not about whether there is a god or not...for you it's about the faith that there is and his presence in your life makes you better.... there is a difference.

Look at a picture of a triangle and put God at the top pf it, when two people pray together it brings them closer to God just like the sides of the triangle does to reach the apex. Prayer is important not just in Marriage but in every thing we do in life.

absolutely, my husband and I were having serious problems, we had considered counseling but first decided to get back in church, It was the best decision we've made. Once you put the Lord first in your family, everything else will fall into place. The power of prayer is AMAZING!! I will be praying for you and your marriage, I wish you the best

Absolutely Yes to the first question and Absolutely not to your second! Prayer is between you and God. To do so with another person is only boasting on how well you pray. Plus your partner may not be too comfortable doing so.

It is God who joins you together in marriage and if you pray together, you will likely have a stronger bond. It is a beautiful thing

I'd say it depends on your faith. It can defiantly change your marriage for the better but then again if you don't believe in prayer I can't say that it would. It's all in your beliefs I guess.
