So i had a laparoscopy done and they found out that I have endo, the doctor removed it (in my uterus and ovaries) and after that he went and talked to my husband and my mom.. I didn't see him after that, he had another surgery to do right after me. So when they were talking. the doc told my husband we really need to try to get pregnant in the next 2-3 months... Why in the next 2-3 months? will I not be able to get pregnant after that.. what if it doesn't happen in that time. do I have to go through surgery again?? HELP
BTW: we did the surgery because I wasn't getting pregnant. We tried for over a year and a half with nothing. so he did the surgery to see if anything was wrong!!

yes you can, i was diagnosed and I am currently pregnant with number 2! and my best friend also had it and had the surgery. One month later she was pregnant. and even if you dont get pregnant right away, its amazing the difference with your period and how less painful the cramps are.
for me, i did pretty great in labor because the cramps with endo were very similar to the contractions I had. Best of luck to you!
Note why he recommends getting pregnant is that its ben shown that pregnancy or birthcontrol conrtols the symptoms of endo and actually may cure it.
he prolly wants you to get pregnant because just in case there is some scar tissue left from the surgery, the pregnancy will take care of it. :)

Well first of all Lupron places you right into a chemically precipitated state of menopause and that during itself will avert being pregnant - it stopping ovulation! And lupron is a few nasty stuff, bone density loss and so forth. and is most commonly the final alternative earlier than hysterectomy. Have you attempted steady BCP already? If you are looking to conceive, I do not appreciate why your Dr. might placed you on lupron correct now. Anything that stops menstruation is medication for Endo, adding being pregnant. I believe you must search one other opinion. Also, if you happen to've had a surgical procedure to take away the endo, they are going to most commonly do a D&C as your possibilities of conceiving straight after are so much bigger. Have they spoken to you approximately this? EDIT: Endo you probably have this ailment is typically used shorthand for endometriosis. If you do not know that, good k, however do not count on SHE used to be wrong for utilising it. EDIT: Wait, so that you have been on BCP and Lupron at the same time!? That does not make any feel... you're both incorrect otherwise you REALLY want a new health care professional!

You need to get busy because the endo often comes back again and again and again. Endo can spread damaging your reproductive system. I tried for 10 years and never conceived. Do what your doctors tell you so you won't miss out on being a mother, it's my one regret in life. If the endo does come back yes you will need to have it removed in order to get pregnant. Good luck and say your prayers.

I too have endo. if you are trying to get pregnant the best time is like 2 months after your laparoscopy. i got pregnant after my first one and then had a miscarriage. Now i have been ttc for 2 years. yes try to get pegnant then and do everything you can to have a healthy baby boy or girl. good luck to you.

you are an adult you need to talk to your doc
you don't need someone else pass on messages regarless who the person is
make an appointment to see your doc
Yes it will be great if you can get preg soon
because ENDO do come back what he did was to make you able to carry a child and no you probably will not need to have another operation

I think the best thing for u to do is to go your doctor or a different doctor if u not happy with his answer. Sometimes some doctors not shore with everything, so u should go to see other doctor like gynecologist maybe. And hopefully he can tell u what's wrong or what u can do. Maybe everything is fine and u can still have a babe or maybe u have to do something or take some medicine for it. Just don't worry and stay strong, but the best thing for u to do is to see a doctor now, don't wait any longer, please!!! Good luck with everything, and again be STRONG!!!
