What is a topic in the media that hasn't been researched?

I was trying to find a topic for my media research class and I got stuck. I wanted to research the area of Entertainment/Music. The topic has to be one that has never really been researched, and the articles have to be scholarly.

Examine the negative effects of MTV, BET, and CMTV on American thinking. Try to find out how much better our IQ's, personal lives, and the economy would be if these influences didn't exist.
