I do gymnastics. I practice 3 days a week, 3 hours a day. I still don't get enough practice and my coach won't give me private classes. What should I do?

You need a personal coach and trainer. Most girls in Olympics have been in schools dedicated to gymnastics and do it every day for 7 hours day. They have been doing so since they were 5 at least. New coach that is yours only, dedicated to you.

You need to get a new coach and practice more. Gymnasts that I knew practised every day of the week (Monday-Sunday) for about 4-6 hours.

It depends on how old you are now. I think if you are in your mid to late teens you may have missed the boat...sorry.

Look at the Chinese and Eastern European gymnasts. They are all young (early teens) and have been training for the Olympics since they were a very young age.

You definitely need a coach that could train you the way you need to be trained.
One important thing for olympics is that every event has a Standard. Any athlete that can break that record can participate in the olympics for their country. For example the standard for 100 metres men is about 10.2 seconds. I dont remember the exact standard but I know it's around there... You definitely need to participate in a lot of T&F events to be seen by different coaches and need a good coach to train you and take you there. I myself am a good spirinter and play basketball and I'm pretty athletic you can say ! I watch every bit of Olympics and I am looking forward to seeing you there!!! LOL...
Good Luck

Yep, a lot of Heart to keep you going towards your goal inspite of all the frustrating experiences you may have along the way, particularly now with your coach. Have Heart to guide you and things will somehow fall into the right place and time. Good luck.

Norsmen is right, get a new coach,
join a club that has athletes who compete nationally/internationally so you can enter competitions. You can't get to the olympics unless you enter competitions and are ranked and get to the trials.

go to another gym that will train you the way you need it (or tell your coach that if he doesnt give you private classes that you will change coaches scare him a little)!
