ok your best-friend doesnt like the fact that you are a cheerleader . ok well if you and her were best-friends for That long she should support your desicion but, she probably is jealous or she thinks you are starting to change since You have became a cheerleader, That happens sometimes..BUt if u dont want to loose your bestfriend then talk to her about but be in a serious mature way but, dont be like I think you are Jealous of me Kinda thing, not cool she will get Mad at you and think this friendship is not worth it. Tell her how much you mean to her and say she is the Bestfriend you have ever had you kow stuff from the heart she will understand and hopefully you and her will become more close and know that this friendship shouldnt be wasted over something stupid like that. I hope you and her will be able to stick it out

She doesn't sound like a very good friend if she's leaving you because you have a different interest. She's probably upset that your going to be a stereo-type cheerleader and become a prep. I would just sit her down and be like "hey I have my cheerleading, and you have your ...., I think they are both good ways to open new doors and have more fun" and just have a serious talk, she's probably confused and feels rejected by you.

I DONT agree with Auddi, do not quit cheerleading if you like it a lot, just ask your friend why she wants you to quit, your friend sounds a bit jealous and selfish, maybe she couldnt be a cheerleader because she wasnt good enough so now she doesnt want YOU to cheerlead, just ask her...

Honey, if 7 years is easy for her to toss aside, I dont know that you want to hold onto her. She doesn't like what you are doing? Well, tough toenails! You do what you like, and you'll find true friends. Let her go, and maybe she'll come back. If not, it's ok--there is ALOT of life to live, alot of lessons to learn, alot of people to meet.
