What is the harm in preachings? Every religion has its own list of folloers and they have every right to preach and spread. It is a question of religious tolerance. You can spread and preach your own religion.

So long as it is not forced on someone, it is good for the humanity. I strongly feel that preaching of any religion cannot be rubbish unless and until some fundamentalists poke their nose.

Consider all to be human beings and you would find everything is normal and beautiful.

It because they have it so minted in there mind they can not think to themselves if they knew the true meaning of there religion I really don't think they'd be saying anything.

We have the web and we can study things now. There are still ignorant people out there who just don't get it and will not be ruled by someone elses ideals and fears.

You are right no one should be forced to follow anyone method of worship its a person right to choose which religion they would like to follow.

For someone reason in there mind they think they have to save everyone. and if you don't do that this can happen blah blah blah.

What they don't realize is the more they preach the more they push people away. That's why there are books people can read on each religion and what is good for them.

All preachers are hypocrites, because NO ONE TAKES THEIR OWN ADVICE.

So many problems in the world's history spawned from religious disputes.

I'm Christian, but I don't go to service. I read my Bible, I pray, and I try to be the best person I can be. But I do not preach, because then when I do slip, I am not a hypocrite who wants to run the world, I am a human who made a mistake. That is the way it should be.

I strongly AGREE! anyone else??????

Yeh, and also this "door-to-door" visiting that some religions do, well, I don't like it because I choose to have my way of believing in religion in MY OWN WAY!
I feel, it is enough that one believes in God and prays. Then often, I get well meaning friends to try and force me to go to Church. Shouldn't it be a voluntary choice?
I'm not comfortable being sociable with groups of people, it's just the way I am, so I'd rather read scriptures and pray on my own!

Why isn't this accepted?

I agree. No one should be forced to follow a belief system or religion. I am not a member of any Christian religion. I did find a website you might be interested in looking at about evangalism, so you might understand the mind-set of Christians. I do hope however, that you refrain as much as possible the judgement of others. I happen to believe that we are here so that God can experience. We are God divided, in time and space, and as such, we are connected to each other. Each one of us came into this world forgetting our source. Each one of us will re-member with God in our own time using our free choice.

I came to my viewpoint over many years, and one day, when I was ready, I stumbled across a book in the library called Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. It brought together many of my ideas and gave it clarity.

Are you saying other religions don't preach too much?

For most religions, it is part of their philosophy, to "go out and witness".
