I am not into "Close to Home" although it looks like a pretty good show. I did see "Ghost Whisperer" on Friday the 13th, though. It was VERY complicated and confusing, I almost gave up on it.
It began with Melinda at some sort of garage sale, and she was some wooden blocks that glowed with faces on them (that only she could see). She asked the woman who was selling them about the blocks. The woman seemed to think for a minute,as if the blocks meant something, then smiled and sold them. Afterward, Melinda heard a banging at her shop, and saw a ghost pounding one of the blocks. He wasn't looking at her, and kept repeating everything she said.
Melinda brought the blocks home and then weird stuff started happening so she and her husband burned them. The went back in the house, and there were the blocks again, as if nothing had happened.
Melinda touched the blocks and got visions of a house. She found where it was, and went inside, and found a young woman sitting in a rocker in a catatonic state, and a body on the floor, it was the ghost's body. They were an autisitic couple, which was why he did not look at Melinda and repeated everything she said. He wanted her to give the blocks to the young woman, his girlfriend. She turned the blocks over, and put them together, and there was a face on it, the woman who Melinda bought them from. The ghost wanted his girlfriend and her mother to meet, and to hear the mother say she loved her daughter. She had been taken away because the authorities believed that it was the mother's fault her daughter was autisitic. One the mother and daughter hugged, the ghost looked up at Melinda (who had tears in her eyes), and smile. She smiled back, and off he went into the light!
See, I told you it was confusing ;)
