Science is the study of what we are and what happens around us every day. Forensic science is a way to determine what happened. I am so glad we have this branch of science today. Now, the criminals have a greater chance of getting caught. Science is based on theories that have been proven. Science is fact and cannot be disputed.

Forensic Science covers the areas of science that are relevant to the law. It is primarily involved in gathering scientific evidence proving that a crime has occurred, and by whom it was committed. This evidence is acquired by utilising certain areas of biology, chemistry, analytical science and mathematics.
Since forensic scientists are involved not only in the incrimination of suspects but also in proving their innocence, the scientist must be impartial and have a neutral interest in the outcome of a case. Consequently the Forensic Science Service is not part of the police force, rather another government agency whose services the police have to pay for.

Forensic Science is basically based on experience and theoriesof science, but law is command of soverignity over its citizens. Naturally role of forensic science is different in different countries over law.Science cannot command law as law itself originated from Science os law that is Jurisprudence. Forensic Science can only help legal administration to a certain extent alike medical science as much as it is developed in the country. In so many cases courts of India decided medical science is not a complete science. Hence , the relationship of forensic science and law is a growing concept and also dynamic, but obviously not complete.
