What is the best quality and best buy?

I am in college and own a Dell Inspiron B130. I hate it and it's very slow and cheap. I am looking for another Dell of better quality. Which Dell laptop would be best for me, under $1,000.00.

I would not buy a Dell,, our office has,, nothing but problems,,,, foreign made, can't get worked on....... try something else, and leave Dell alone..........
