It's hard to pick a favorite other than the one who slapped the liberals silly. W.

I'm referring, of course, to his 2 S. Ct. appointments.

*****Of all of the presidents so far, I'd have to choose the greatest president ever as my favourite. That of course is none other than George Washington. It was he that led our rag-tag army against what was the greatest force in the world at that time and....won! He invented guerrilla warfare. Then he was offered to be KING of America but turned it down. Then when he was president, he did what no other world leader ever done before in all of history; he stepped down. He refused a third term. This man was absolutely amazing for his time.*****

That's a lot tougher question than it looks.

1. John F. Kennedy - so much promise, cut down in his prime before he was allowed to finish his work. So sad.

2. Bill Clinton - Booming economy, peace, a bright tomorrow.

3. Harry Truman - His motto "The Buck Stops Here." He didn't take crap from anyone and took responsibility for his actions.

In my lifetime (40-odd years), Ronald Reagan.

Historically: Harry S. Truman & Abraham Lincoln.

Kennedy made a nice image, but the man was an adulterer, drug-addict, and a bumbler. We gig Bush for bringing aboard "friends" into his administration... yet Kennedy appointed his BROTHER as Attorney General !
