i saw a program about birds, and a duck could survive alone after 2 hours!! hmm interesting

sea turtles...they have to go on their own in the ocean as soon as they hatch...and i think salmon r the same way..cool, huh??

I would say specifically a Muscovie Duck. They leave "Mom" almost immediately - eat bugs, grains and are extremely independent. Ducks like Mallards and most domestics, their little ones stay together and are protected for a while.

Guinea pigs are born with all their hair, their teeth, and with their eyes open. I'd say that they can be independent once their hair is dry after birth.
