I'm abnormal and imperfect: I have suckers on my feet but after hanging for three minutes from the ceiling I just fall off. Still, I'm glad I'm not perfect or normal ta very much.

Normal is a dualistic word, as cool or hot, you cannot say any of them if not referred to other things. So normal is a word that is already indicating a reference about something that is not common to our cultural environment. So, there is not such a thing as universal normal things, but just inside a cultural background.

Firstly the last time someone discribed me as normal I turned upon him with a look of disdain & said There is no need to insult me. He raised his eyebrows and started laughtin at me.
They are a state of assention that the mainstream people try to reach. Someday they'll fugure out that getting there is about as easy as squeezing a Rhinosorous into a tuttu.

They are simply ideals and goals to aim for. Surely you can see that it is better to at least aim for perfection in a given situation than to have no set standard?

I think everyone likes to use this word so they think as themselves as perfect or normal when really everybody has flaws and faults it doesnt matter what they are but you could say its normal for everyone to have their flaws and faults.
