What is the top speed of a 92 Chevrolet Lumina with a TH125 Tranny and a 3.1L V6? Its a 2dr. I don't race it or anything I just want to know.

governor cuts off at 107MPH. That is the top speed that the origional factory tires were rated for.

No too sure what the top speed would be, but some cars that are capable of going faster are chip limited so they don't exceed the speed rating on the stock tires. I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP that is probably capable of doing 150+, but it is limited to under 110.

apparently that engine has a 120-135 HP engine coupled with a 3 speed automatic (4 speed is optional), thatll do about 130 (ish). i cant find any exact figures, and im too lazy to work out the top speed (theres a way to do it but its extremely long lol).

well my 94 corsica with a 3 spd.auto, and 3.1 does around 105

as long as it doesn't have a speed limiter it should do over 120 mph
