TV today is as dull as ditchwater.
Too many DIY, cookery, gardening, makeover, antiques and celebrity/reality shows.
What ever happened to this country's fine pedigree of producing world class drama's and comedies?
Even todays comedies are dull. They're mostly all based on catchphrases which people laugh at because they're told by their mates that it's funny.
You could watch any two episode of Little Britain or The Fast Show, and be forgiven for thinking they were the same episode. All the sketches are the same, ending with the same predictable catchphrases as substitutes for punchlines.

No, but I think the BBC should kick them until they get rid of all the boring and pointless adverts everyone has to stupidly sit through and watch so those channels can make more money for doing basically nothing at all!!! It's likes some kind of punishment for watching T.V!!!

I enjoy many of the BBC documentaries and would like to see more. I agree with one of the answers above, they shouldn't work together, they should work separately to provide more useful programmes.

Great idea in theory but if they all got together they'd probably put the tv license up by 300% to cover all of them!

They are 2 different companies, so why would they do this?
Although I do agree with your comments on the quality of the programmes.

Redcorn delight in clean attitude of BBC over interior sight stations that conceal international information... Me like-um pay attention what different u . s . a . sense significant, and what their theory of worldwide activities is...!

If you find it boring take up a hobby or start reading books. It could be a blessing in disguise.

Would be a great idea but they are in competition with each other so that will never happen.
