I really like the way my facial hair looks after 1-2 days without shaving: that light stubble, more than a 5 o'clock shadow, but not yet a beard. But the problem is: it doesn't stay this way. It keeps growing, and then I don't like anymore, and I have to shave it again down to nothing, and let it grow back to the length I like. It's like a never-ending cycle, and my beard growth only looks the way I like it 1/2 the time, or less.

Is there any way to keep it looking the way I like for a longer perdiod. i.e. any way to shave it, but instead of shaving it clean, just shave it down to the 1-2 day stubble look? I can't really comprehend how this would be possible, but I thought it was worth asking.

I asked this question yesterday and didn't get enough responses, so I'm asking it again now. One person suggested some sort of clipper, but I'm really not sure what they're talking about. If you are going to suggest a clipper, could you please be more specific (i.e. show me a website, etc)?

sometmes you can get that desired length by shaving with the MOUSTACHE TRIMMER on an electric shaver instead of the razor head itself. It's worth a try. All electric shavers have moustache trimmers.

Also there are natural gels & creams to INHIBIT further hair growth. they work gradually & weaken the follicles, maybe enough to produce that look you want.

Yes, some guys look so hot in stubble look. but not all. Blonds look best. For me I love the clean shaven, baby-face kiddie look. I like to look like Johnny Depp. Pale & white. Yummmy.

You have a variety of choices out there which prices start from $9 - $160
A beard trimmer or clippers come under the brand name as follows: Braun, Oyster, Wahl, Phillips, Remington, Conair, Panasonic, Vidal sasoon, Revlon, Schick, Sharper image, and the list goes on.
You have some that are electric and some operates with just 2 AA batteries. A variety of colors and size/shapes. Yes, most come with accessories included. Nope, no special training just look in the mirror and trim to your your desire.
Finally you say where: Family Dollar, Dollar General, Walmart, K-mart, Circuit city, Target, Goodmans or any drug store etc. I use it for my hair, side burns, mustache, goatee, noise and more. In short you can find them anywhere and as far as a website most of the stores I mention above have there on website. Good Luck,

The person mentioning a clipper probably meant an electric trimmer. If not, I'm suggesting it. These have adjustable settings so you can trim your beard to the length you want. I have one and it comes with different attachments so I can trim to the length I want. If you do this every few days, you'll be able to keep the length you want indefinitely.

Stubble really can't be maintained. There aren't any clippers exact enough to cut it down to the stubble level without shaving completely.

You're just going to have to get used to it or find a new look.

Trim it rather of shaving it?? it is what clippers are for. Clippers are electric powered razors with a protect in position. Do a glance for your self on Remington's website. in case you want the stubble, you'll do the search to get the certain information. otherwise it would want to no longer be that important to you.
