99 Plymouth Breeze?

I have a 99 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 L 105K miles. Latley the oil light has been coming on. I just had it changed with 10/40 Maxlife 4.5 qt and the light is still on.

It comes on at an idle 6k rpm, but the slightest bit of accelleration and it goes off and stays off until I stop or am in park.

What gives?

i would say the oil sending unit is bad.thats the first thing i would check first.
