No. But she does need prenatal vitamins. That will help her from getting sick if she is not eating. The baby takes all the nutrients it needs from the mother so she can get sick if she doesn't take care of herself. Prenatal vitamins are very helpful to keep baby and mother healthy.
But you did say she is only one day late. Periods are often late for no reason. So you might not want to wrry yourself to death just yet. :)
But if she thinks she could be pregnant, take her to a Dr. (if you do not have the money, most cities have free women's clinics that will give her a pregnancy test) Once she has the test positive, she can take her results to the Dept of Human Services in her city and they will put her on Medicaid. Free medical care for her to go to a Dr. and get the proper care for your child.
Good luck and Blessed be!

Nope. The nutrients stored in her body and bones will get sucked out and delivered to the baby even if she doesn't eat.
You two need to talk about parenting, abortion, and adoption, and getting serious about telling your parents what's going on. No matter what you decide, you two need to handle this decision with maturity (which of course I'm sure you realized, being mature enough for sex, right?), and sneaking around trying to induce a miscarriage because you're afraid to talk to adults about it is NOT a mature decision.
Take a deep breath, and grow up. Good luck

No, I didn't eat for the first 3 months of my pregnancy because, I would get sick if I even thought about food!
She should be ok, but, mabey talk to her let her know that you know and try to get her to eat, because she will end up getting sick herself if she doesn't eat.
The only reason that the baby will be ok, is that the baby is taking all of her nutrition and making her sick.
So go talk to her, find out what is wrong, mabey she isn't pregnant, she might just not fell ood or something, but, find out, because if she is pregnant she needs to get to a doctor to have a check up and make sure everything in her bodie is ok.
Good luck!

If she doesnt eat it wont necessarily cause a miscarriage. So buy her an at home pregnancy test at the store and get her to a doctor soon.

No, refusing to eat or eating very little will not cause an abortion. But it will result in your girlfriend getting sick. If she doesn't want the child, why not get an abortion the right way?

if she is pregnant, whatever nutrients the child needs will be taken from her. her body will "feed" the child before her, so starving herself will not cause an abortion; ever noticed how many babies you see starving to death on those "send us your money" shows? there is no way to cause an abortion without causing trauma to the womb, and that isn't possible without causing trauma to the mother
if you don't want a child, you shouldn't be procreating

Nope. In order for her to know if she is pregnant for SURE is to have it diagnosed by a doctor, then she can discuss with the doctor if she wants an abortion IF she is pregnant.

not eating could harm the baby, but not cause abortion. She needs to go see a ob/gyn asap! Best of luck!

It is probably too soon anyhow but not eating probably won't hurt any baby, as lots of women get really sick in pregnancy anyways and go on to deliver healthy babies.

Not eating puts both her and the baby's life at risk. Talk to her NOW before it is too late. Whatever happens, it should be mutual.
