Could anybody please tell me where I might find these? I have called and searched everywhere I can think of. Looks sort of like the spring in a pen but smaller and very flexible.

Well, you could get some very fine guage spring steel wire (probably around 30g) and make one....

It sounds like a watch spring, I suppose you already tried an old watch repair place?

I don't know where you are, but have you tried looking in Hobby Lobby. They have lots of that kind of stuff.
