A dance troup might be a better bet, research ones that you have seen and like, see if they are looking for openings and offer your services. You might also want to look into talking to record companies as they have lots of dance talent pass through them.
As far as film, look for independent websites that are looking to hire cast and crew. Many also have a looking for work section, post your resume there and see if you get any takers, you might be a good person for an independent action film to have on hand when shooting an action film. You can also always go directly to studios, but as has been stated, many can only hire union workers... check and see what kind of union is and work on joining it if need be, a few jobs as an extra for the union and you just might earn full membership in to the union and thus more jobs!

Most jobs on movie sets are union and the same people are called when needed. I have friends in the industry and cannot get a job on a movie set! Those that have jobs on movie and tv shows, have been working for many years.

The jobs are union so they don't have to worry about losing their job. As far as massage therapist, celebrities often have their "own people" on-set.

The best way to get in, is locally, where you live. When you see a film crew in town introduce yourself.
