Sedimentary rocks may contain fossils. These rocks were the result of gradual layers of sediment being deposited, some of which may have buried dead plants or animals, which eventually became fossils.

Metamorphic rock results from changes in other kinds of rocks, due primarily to great heat and pressure. Some metamorphic rock was previously sedimentary rock, but the process of metamorphosis generally destroys any fossils that were present.

Igneous rock is of volcanic origin, so obviously no plant or animal remains would be present.

found in sedimentary rocks. coz these rocks are formed by sedimentation of various layers which may contain dead organisms. which convert into fossils. In metamorphic rocks due to extreme pressure and heat the layers undergo matamorphosis and hence u cant find fossils in them..

Igneous. The fossils have to be cooked in a volcano to actually fossilize.
