Will my Social security check go down if I get married?

Probably so. My daughters did. SSI is based on household income. My daughter doesn't qualify for any SSI now that I'm married.

Your social security has nothing to do with your martial status. It has to do with your salary and how much you are earning right now. I think that when you ask for SS, they take in consideration whether your husband was working and how much he earned.
