Maybe instead of a group name, maybe you could think of nick names for each other. You may not always want to be identified by a group name as you grow older but the nick names you pick for each other could last a life time. You could use the letters of your names and try to figure nick names from that or just decide according to personalities. Could be a lot of fun. I had a gf growing up nick name Bongo, another Pookie. The names should have an endearing connection between all of you. Well, just a thought.

When my daughter was in the seventh grade a group of older girls thought they were like babies so they named my daughter and her friends "The Fetuses".
At first my daughter and her friends hated the name, but then they started to like it when even their own friends started calling them that in a nice way.
Even up to graduation and after, this group of young ladies (now each 20 years old ) still refer to themselves as "The Fetuses".

Try writing down your favorite colors, nouns and adjective words on bits of paper, and put them in a hat (or bowl or bag or whatever) and have each of you draw one out, it would be fun to see the result!
