I have a complete set of Collier Encyclopedias(1968), plus dictionaries (1968), & yearbooks from 1969 to 1985. Also I have a complete collection (10) of Collier's Junior Classics. Can somebody give me a good idea of how much this collection is worth, and how to sell it.

There's really not much of a market for encyclopedias these days. I've see sets of encyclopeidas at used book stores selling for $20 - $30. Right now, there's a set of Collier's 1962 Encyclopedia selling on eBay with an asking price of $39.99.

I see all the requests for values, but notice everyone says that the Colliers Encyclopedias are not worth much of anything, but I am interested in the yearbooks. Years 1940 thru 1947 and 1995 thru 1998. If you have any of these and want to get rid of them, please email me at dennis.cook1777@yahoo.com

I have sets of old Encyclopedias also, sadly enough with the Internet, they are work very little.

A decorator might buy them to decorate a model home. They are more valuable to fill a book shelf than to sell.

First, check with rare booksellers in person or on their websites and get several opinions. Second, go to the Sothbey's and Christie's auction house websites and check with them. They have experts on every type of collectible. Third, check the Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov and see what answer your question receives.
