Rogue nations seem compelled to have a nuclear bomb. Since Europe is complacent and feel they (Europeans) are immune to world events, not taking a stronger role, is it up to the USA, ALL THE TIME, to maintain order, peace and freedom? Or should the USA step back and let whatever happens, happens?

Yah there is just so much wrong with this statement.
First off the US policys if they do not change pretty much guarantee we will be nuked one day. Second of all Iran isnt a rogue state just because the US says so. We arent the only country nor are we always accurate about such thing ie.iraqi war intelligence wmds.
Secondly we are responsible for alot of the reasons why peace needs to be kept. I mean really we are not he world police and can not just say a country is a terrorists country because we want to.

I think you have asked 3 questions here. To answer just the first, no, I actually don't think we are headed for nuclear war. It would be a world nuclear war, not just us, and all developed countries know it. They are fat and happy, and getting fatter and happier all the time. (Think China and India.) They would not want anything to happen to this scenario to screw that up, nor would they want anything to happen to the world's primary shopping mall, us. They would therefore take any steps necessary to prevent anything along the lines of a "nuclear Holocaust". Also keep in mind that a nuclear attack does not have to answered with a nuclear response. Think North Korea - if they were stupid enough (and they might be!) to pop one at South Korea, we would not respond in kind, but rather roll them up in about 12 hours with conventional bombing, etc. Reason: casualties from conventional weaponry are easier to predict and care for afterwards (remember that we would be at war with the govt., not the people) than from nuclear.

AMERICA F**K YEAH! COMING IN AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHER-F**KING DAY YEAH! TERRORISTS YOUR GAME IS THROUGH, 'CAUSE NOW WE'RE GONNA TERRORIZE YOU!

They're angry because America won't leave them alone. They've been messed with by the US for years. It was started when America built military bases on Muslim land. As for nuclear war, one could start but probably nothing would happen. Everyone knows you can't win a nuclear war because of "mutually assured destruction" each side would know that if they fired the first shot they'd be annihilated by the other sides nuclear weapons. It would be another cold war all over again.

The UN has expected the US to be the world's police for quite awhile now... Then, they can sit in judgment of us, after they do NOTHING...

I think we are actually pretty good at it, and we have the fire-power, so as long as we can keep things okay here at home, I think we should continue the fight against nuclear war.

*laughs* Europe feels immune to world events? Hello, your an American, and you feel were out of touch?

Friend, face it, Europe treats the rest fo the world with respect and works togetehr with nations, we dont act isolationist then declare we are the worlds policemen.

Moron. 'Rogue' nations dotn exist, only nations you dont like. Besides, if they cant have weapons, why should you? Hell, your the only country too have ever used them, so you've no moral high ground

Yes. The current state of affairs in this world is atrocious. It'll probably start out as 'unconventional' and lead to conventional. Meaning, someone is probably going to 'nuke' us using unconventional means, and eventually, we'll find out who supplied those means and nuke their cities or entire country.

nuclear war could happen any time. i hope it doesn't! but if we have nuclear weapons, what right do we have to tell others they can't? I know why we don't WANT them to have them, but how can we stop them? and one day they might get used..
