How TO HIDE ITEMS ON TASKBAR?

I would like to hide the items on my taskbar because i am running an online game and i dont want to be caught playing it. My computer is shared so i need a way to hide the icon while others may be working on the computer. Any ideas?

Right click on the toolbar, then click properties, then check auto-hide the taskbar, then click apply, then ok.

Put Firefox on a thumb drive, and use tabs. That works for me.
