The existence of actual vampires would depend on your idea of what a real vampire is, in this day and age. I do not believe that bat people type vampires really exist, though large groups of people call themselves vampires, look the part and drink blood. (Yuck). What I do know more about is the existence of emotional vampires. This is a real lurking problem in our society and is well worth investigating. An emotional vampire has powers that we don't normally see every day. They have the power to to drain a person totally. An emotional vampire seems to gain their strength from living off the vitality of others and sucking them dry. The true emotional vampire knows what he/she is doing and believes they are a super human life force with the ability to far outlive us. Much can be found about such creatures on the Internet.

I think they exist in some peoples heads. People CHOOSE to behave like a vampire. People choose to drink blood and live by night.
Other than that, vampires don't exist.

Vampirism is a religon, not just a kids tale, I don't know much about it, but it's like saying you don't believe in witches, of course they exist, they were a religion first before the movies totally changed them

I think that in a sense vampires do exist. Not in the way movies and books portray them necessarily. I feel that any being that takes life to advance themselves in some way could be considered a vampire.

I've never seen a vampire in my life...
anyway whats so special about them? the "real" (like describes in myths) vampires can be corrupted corpse walking around.
its just another folklore that made people stay in home at night.

there was a count long ago who drank the blood of virgins which was supposed to keep him young, hence the legend of vampires

They are fantasy, but there are people who live the livestyle of vampires and even get their K9 teeth lengthened.
