As a truck driver, I dislike it very much. I also wouldn't live in a state that tells me I can't protect my family and myself and my property from criminals. Ohio says you have to try and get away and can't just shoot the criminal. You the victim have less rights than the criminal. Ohio also has a state income tax. Another bad thing. I wouldn't want to live there.

I was born in Ohio...in a town so small there were less than 300 pop. And it hasn't grown much larger in the last 50 odd years...
My family moved away when I was very young, and we only go back on very few occasions... My best memories are visiting my cousins on a farm, and driving on the country roads in autumn when the trees turn those magnificent colours. I think of Ohio as Halloween and Thanksgiving.... the harvesting being done, the weather turning chilly and good smells coming from the kitchens.
Of course, I just turned 60...So what you young folk find boring I just find peaceful...
I now live in southern Spain, here there is fun and games most of the year for people your age (anywhere from 15 to 35)....The results are too many youngsters with drinking or drug problems, and not enough sleep!
I think you are better off in Ohio... I wish I could go back and visit more often!
And if you are bored...use your imagination. No one with a good mind need be bored...Use your PC, or a good book, or just chat with some friends

It's the identical purpose folks say the SEC is hyped up - they have got no thought what they are speaking approximately. No one who watched Ohio State play this yr and honestly is aware of whatever approximately the sport of soccer might say they had been hyped up. I bet they omit that they had been ranked quite low early within the season and rose to quantity one after caring for industry week in and week out till they performed an excessively well Illinois crew. I in my view do not know any individual that considers the software as a complete as tradionally hyped up. That's simply absurd.

Weird. A state of it's own. Traffic cops are probably the strictest in the nation. Way too many cities. The state is cluttered with way, way too many people for it's size. You can't even find any true wide open spaces in Ohio. What's with all of the manicured yards? Seems like everybody is in competition with each other on their yards. Heck people even have manicured ponds. That's just weird. You get up north of Columbus and you start seeing the Canadian flag. People seems to be the same type. If your from the Buckeye you know what I'm talking about. What's with that?Oh yea the weather sucks. Winters way to cold.and sunny days are hard too come by.

I hear it's not easy to find work in Ohio. I went through Ohio years ago and there is a lot of pretty country there. The people seemed pretty nice too.

I love Ohio. If I compare it to some other states, it is one of the best states to live in. There are some real concerns in Ohio. But, again, when I compare the concerns of Ohio to some other states, it is better than a lot of other states. My favorite city in Ohio is Columbus.

I've visited at least 5 cities in Ohio. I have relatives in Dayton. It's kind of quiet, and I did'nt smell pollution. What I liked most was visiting "Cedar Point Amusement Park",in Sandusky.

I also live in Ohio and i cna't stand it their is nothing to do up here. It is so boring and i want to move away from here.
But i read somewhere that wherever you live you hate the most. Like i was talkin to some kid in florida and he said that he would love to live in ohio because we have four seasons, which i never really thought of us as lucky to have all four seasons. But we are one of the few states to have them.

Ohio is a dump ! try Bend, OR. lots of work, view of 8-10'000ft mountains...great fishing, hiking, skiing, and so much more. population approaching 200,000 in that area. (central Oregon) not the one on the coast....this is the sun belt...300 days of sunshine a year !
