It should be the woman's choice. After all, it is her body.

Abortion is a tool invented by God to fulfill his purposes on earth. God uses abortion every day to make the world a better place. And because God is opposed to murder and is clearly against useless death, he does not kill in abortion. In fact there is no place in the Bible that calls intentional abortion murder. There is no place that calls it death or any other negative term. Abortion is quite simply the ending of a fetus prior to being elevated to life. If there is any other proof otherwise, please post it.
As a result abortion is a way of ending a problem before is becomes a sin. And that is clearly what God does when he aborts.
Most of the people on this site have personal opinions about abortion. And those opinions are not based in the Bible and in the fact that God does abortions every day.
The facts are the facts and anything else is wrong. I will admit abortion is wrong when someone proves that it is against God's will and not a personal choice by the person himself.

Abortion should only be granted only when one has been raped or when the pregnancy threatens the mother's life.
Arbortion has long been used for the wrong reasons. Young girls indulge in sex willingly and without any protection at all and when they become pregnant they begin to realise it was a mistake. They definitely know that it is not the boy who is mentally affected but themselves, but they are still coerced into sex.
Abortion is never a happy circumstance, however banning it will see it being performed illegally and worse still by non - professionals. So the good or bad part will in the long run rest with the affected person. Today's youth though endowed with a variety of contraceptives at their disposal, still act stupid. The 21st century should have seen a better crop of our youth but the same mistakes that our ancestors made, are still being made. Law enforcers have succumbed to women wishes and thus allowing the decision to rest with the affected person. So in a way, there is no better option than this.

I think it is acceptable to have an abortion for things like rape. If a female has consenting sex without using contraception, then this is difficult. Abortion is the easy way out, but if they were to have the baby, what kind of life would it have if the child was unwanted. I also think abortion for medical reasons (either mother or baby) is also acceptable.

There is to much birth control available for abortion to be used as much as it is. Abortion should always be an option in incest or rape cases. Otherwise every woman should only be allowed to have ONE first trimester abortion in her lifetime, that will get rid of the idiot women who use it as a from of birth control. After that one time if they don't want a baby the only option should be adoption.

Abortion is not allowed in the main 3 monolithic religions
But if todays science allws us to see the development of the foetus and knowing it will have some sort of deformity or disablity, abortion should be allowed.
Otherwise not.

it all depends on the way you came to be pregnant? its not the childs fault! if you feel you could support it well and give it a loving home all very well but if its not going to have an easy life then maybee abortion is the answer but at the end of the day it is a real life and it has no choice only you could decide,

Generally do not agree to have an abortion, but I believe there are times when it's ok. In case of rape for instance.

I am against it in principal-however I think in cases of rape or severe disability then I think it's justified-After all it's the mother that has to raise the child.
I beleive that if a pregnant woman is going to terminate because it's just not wanted it should be done as soon as possible-

If a woman doesn`t want an unplanned baby she should have the option of a termination. I get fed up with people like pro-life preaching, making women feel guilty over this and trying to tell others what they should do with their lives.

Highly controversial subject, nevertheless, I feel very strongly that abortion is taking life. At the end of the sixth week from conception, the fetus has nerve endings....can you imagine.....?
